0.6.3.0 - Babylonians

While working on walls and siege units, we discovered a problem with most of the building art assets. Some buildings filled their space, but most left space between their walls and neighboring tiles. Since walls fill their space depending on how they connect with other walls and towers, it wasn't always obvious enough when there was space between buildings and walls for units to move through. Therefore, we decided to redraw all the building assets and upload these in a build that also addresses several community-reported bugs, and that makes maps more balanced between players in multiplayer.

Babylonians
The new building assets are more strongly inspired by the first civilization that will be part of the game, Babylonians, who were a major power throughout most of the the Middle and Late Bronze Ages. For around a century, during in the Middle Bronze Age, and around the time that the famous Code of Hammurabi has been dated to, it has been estimated that Babylon was the largest city in the world.

Since the great powers of the Bronze Ages had urban centers, we want the buildings to reflect this. We want you to feel more like you're creating an urban center of power, and that your competition are urban centers of power as well.

Better visual feedback when placing building
This feature is important for placing upcoming walls. It's now a lot easier to see where you can place buildings to plan the layout of your base.

More balanced maps
The previous map generator was indeed very, very random. If you were lucky, it could create fairly balanced maps, but more often than not maps would be unbalanced, especially in 4 player games. In this version, the map generator has been rewritten. The map is now split into regions (behind the scenes) so that fertile land and metal deposits are more evenly spread between each player region. It's still not 100% balanced, but everyone should now be given enough fertile land in their region to get started by and expand to.
