0.3.4 - Furnace and Copper Equipment
Furnace and Copper Equipment
A new building has been added: Furnace.
You need to research Metalworking in order to construct it.
Click on the Furnace to produce equipment for your units:
- Copper Helmet
- Copper Arrowhead
- Copper Spearhead
- Copper Axe
Map Size
You can now pick between SMALL and LARGE map size in the Game Settings screen before starting a game.
Randomised Start Positions
Randomised start positions means you have to scout your enemy on LARGE map size, since there are four possible corners to spawn at. This will hopefully create more variety!
Changes to Enemy Tribe
- BEGINNER is easier to let new players get more time to familiar themselves with the game.
- Changed layout of enemy tribe.
- Enemy units who defend their tribe will no longer chase your units indefinitely. If they run too far away from their guard position they will move back to it. This makes them slightly harder to exploit.
Bugs Fixes
- Improved Woodcutting now correctly increases wood cutting speed by 25% instead of 125%.
- Mining now correctly increases mining speed by 25% instead of 125%.
- Cancelling construction of Dwelling no longer removes housing stats.
- Buildings that are destroyed or have their construction work cancelled no longer continue to occupy the tiles they previously occupied.
- When a Villager is walking to drop of the resources he is carrying and you ask him to harvest another type of resource instead, he won't walk all the way to that resource, then turn around to deliver the resources he's currently carrying, before finally returning to harvest the new resource. Instead, he will walk to the new resource and drop the resources he's carrying if it's a different type of resource.
Balance Changes
- Food surplus still gives 10 - 30% increased production speed when producing Villager but this no longer applies for military units, and UI text is updated to reflect this.
- Archery Range construction time increased from 30s to 40s.
- Farm construction time reduced from 15s to 12s.
- Swordsman move speed reduced from 6 to 5.
- Metal amount to harvest per resource pile increased from 150 to 250.
- Increased Swordsman damage from 21 to 22.
- Reduced Swordsman siege damage from 6 to 4.
- Reduced Villager siege damage from 3 to 2.
- Reduced Spearman and Axeman siege damage from 5 to 3.
- Reduced time it takes to train Spearman from 22s to 20s.
- Slinger damage has been increased from 6 to 7.
- Slinger wood cost reduced from 35 to 25.
- Javelin Thrower damage has been increased from 5 to 6 (12 damage throw per 2 seconds).
- Javelin Thrower wood cost has been reduced from 35 to 25.
- Reduced wood required to build Farm from 50 to 40.
